PC sheets are known as "transparent steel plates" for their impact strength. 2) Good Tensile Strength: Professional PC sheets used in vacuum forming have excellent heat resistance; even at 120℃, the tensile strength can reach 350 kgf/cm². 3) Bending Strength: Professional PC sheets used in vacuum forming exhibit good bending resistance; they do not break even when bent at an angle of 90°. b Thermal Properties1) Melting Temperature: The melting temperature of PC sheets is 135℃, with a continuous service temperature of up to 120℃. 2) Linear Expansion Coefficient: The linear expansion coefficient is 7×10-5 cm/cm/℃, which is relatively low among plastics. 3) Brittle Temperature: The brittle temperature of PC sheets is -40℃, and the low continuous service temperature is -30℃, which is incomparable to general plastics. 4) Flammability: PC sheets are one of the flame-retardant, self-extinguishing plastics; they do not emit toxic gases when heated to high temperatures. ULR-94 certified, flame retardant B1 grade, no dripping, non-toxic gases; 5) Thermal Conductivity: The thermal conductivity of PC sheets is not significantly different from that of general plastics; it is 1/4 that of glass, 1/300 that of iron, 1/1000 that of aluminum, and 1/2000 that of copper, making it one of the materials with excellent thermal insulation properties.
