Brief Description: The side-feeding industrial system for mixing is designed to add color masterbatches and other additives. Some systems also have metering functions. 1. The inner cavity of the die head should be streamlined to ensure that the material can be evenly extruded along the flow channel, avoiding overheating and decomposition due to stagnation. There must not be any sudden narrowing in the die head, and there should be no dead spots or stagnant areas. It is recommended to make the flow channel as smooth as possible, with a suggested surface roughness Ra value of 0.4μm.
2. Sufficient compression ratio: According to the different types of plastic products and plastic materials, design a die head that can produce sufficient compression ratios to eliminate the seams caused by the diverter support, making the product compact.
3. Correct cross-sectional shape: Due to factors such as the properties of plastics, pressure, density, and shrinkage rate, the cross-sectional shape of the die head's orifice forming part is different from the true cross-sectional shape of the product. When designing, consider this factor to ensure that the die head has a reasonable cross-sectional shape.
4. Compact structure and easy disassembly: Under the condition of meeting mechanical performance requirements, design a die head that is rhythmically arranged, tightly connected, uniformly heat-conductive, easy to disassemble, and does not leak material.
5. Rational material selection: The die head should be made of steel that is corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, has good tensile strength, and high hardness. In some cases, it may need to be chrome-plated based on specific conditions.
Maintenance Points for the Side-Feeding Industrial Mixing System:
1. For dosing and metering feeding, to ensure uniform and stable feeding and prevent self-flow of materials, it should be installed horizontally. For continuous feeding of general materials, it can be installed at a 10° downward angle. For sticky materials and materials with high moisture content, it can be installed at a 15° downward angle.
2. After installation, a 20mm clearance should be left, and the horizontal direction should be level. The suspension device should use flexible connections.
3. Before the empty test, all bolts should be tightened once, especially the foot bolts of the vibration electromagnet. After 3-5 hours of continuous operation, they should be retightened. During the test, both vibration motors must rotate in the same direction.
4. During the feeding process, frequently check the stability of the amplitude, current, and noise. If any abnormalities are found, stop the machine immediately for handling.
5. Add lubricating oil to the electromagnetic bearings every 2 months, and monthly during the hot season.
