Product Overview:

Shandong TianhaiEVA Waterproof Board is produced using advanced domestic two-stage co-extrusion single-stack rod extrusion technology. The raw material resin EVA is combined with reinforcing agents and antioxidants, heated, melted, plasticized, extruded, and formed into sheets. It can also be thermally bonded with geotextiles (signal layers) with pre-attached straps to form a composite waterproof board. Alternatively, an extrusion calendering method can be used, where the resin is melted and plasticized in an extruder, and the molten sheet is extruded from the narrow die head to integrate with the straps, then cooled into a smooth film, or combined with geotextiles with pre-attached straps and cooled into a composite waterproof board.

Composite Waterproof Board:

Geotextile and waterproof board are integrated as a whole, with point and strip composites. The product edges have splicing seams, and the geotextile is equipped with straps for overall on-site laying, completing in one go.

Construction Key Points:

Base surface treatment: Before the construction of the EVA plastic waterproof board, measure and inspect the tunnel clearance, and treat areas with insufficient excavation, uneven surfaces, or exposed anchor rod heads to meet the clearance and base surface requirements.

Hanging iron wire: First, mark the centerline of the tunnel arch with red paint, then lay the hanging iron wire along the longitudinal direction of the tunnel on the arch centerline. Next, lay iron wire from the arch to both side walls with a spacing of 0.9m (less than the hanging rope spacing of 10cm), parallel to the tunnel centerline, ensuring that the lengths of the iron wire at both ends exceed the length of the EVA plastic waterproof board installation by 1m. When laying iron wire, first drill holes in the initial support surface with a hammer drill, then wedge in wooden wedges. The outer end of the wedged wooden wedge should be flush with the hole. Nail into the wedge, hang the iron wire on the nail, and then bend the nail to prevent it from piercing the EVA plastic waterproof board during the lining concrete construction, affecting the waterproofing effect. The nails should be laid every 2m; if the tunnel profile is uneven, increase the density appropriately to ensure close contact between the iron wire and the initial support.

Hanging EVA plastic waterproof board: Align the centerline of the EVA waterproof board with the center of the tunnel arch, tie the centerline hanging rope to the iron wire at the center of the tunnel arch, and hang the transverse hanging rope from the arch to both side walls. After hanging is complete, move the platform forward. Use the same method to hang the second and third rings until the entire lining cycle segment is completed. The waterproof board should be laid in advance, that is, the length of the waterproof board laid per lining cycle should be at least 1m longer than the lining length to ensure that the large waterproof board joints are securely bonded.

EVA plastic waterproof board joint bonding: The waterproof boards are bonded with overlap, with an overlap length of 10cm. During bonding, first clean and dry the joint area of the EVA plastic waterproof board, then evenly brush adhesive on it with a brush. The applied glue should not be too thick. Using a hand iron, lay the EVA waterproof board flat on a board and roll the joint with a roller until the bonding is smooth and firm. After completing the bonding of each section of the joint, support it with a wooden board and remove the support after 30 minutes.

Protection of EVA plastic waterproof board: When welding reinforcement, cover the area with asbestos cement boards to avoid sparks damaging the waterproof layer. Concrete should be poured in time for protection. During secondary lining, a protective layer should be set up at the EVA plastic waterproof board location directly facing the concrete delivery pipe to prevent damage to the waterproof board.
