 Product Overview: 

    Shandong TianhaiECB Waterproof Board is a sheet material used for waterproofing projects in tunnels and dikes both domestically and internationally. It has a molecular weight of 250,000. Its performance can be adjusted according to the proportion of ethylene content to meet various application requirements. It features excellent flexibility, cold resistance, elasticity, stress crack resistance, and is lightweight, making it particularly suitable for waterproofing materials on the inner surface of arches. It is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer produced by two-stage extrusion and three-roll calendering. The material is semi-transparent and is classified as an environmentally friendly material.

Application Scope: 

    Used for waterproofing in newly constructed railways, highways, municipal roads, light rail transit construction (including bridge decks, tunnels), roofs, underground projects, water conservancy construction, sewage treatment projects, landfill projects, and chemical acid-base treatment pits, as well as for anti-seepage and corrosion-resistant lining in environmental protection projects.

Construction Key Points: 

    Base Treatment: Before the installation of the ECB waterproof board, measure and inspect the tunnel clearance. Treat areas with insufficient excavation, uneven surfaces, exposed anchor rods, etc., to meet the requirements for clearance and surface. 

    Hanging Iron Wire: First mark the centerline of the tunnel arch with red paint, then lay the hanging iron wire along the longitudinal centerline of the tunnel. Next, lay the iron wire from the arch to the two sidewalls with a spacing of 0.9m (less than 10cm from the hanging rope), ensuring it is parallel to the centerline of the tunnel. The length of the iron wire at both ends should exceed the installation length of the ECB waterproof board by 1m. While laying the iron wire, first drill holes in the initial support surface with a hammer drill, then wedge in wooden wedges. The outer end of the wooden wedges should be flush with the hole. Nail on the wedge and hang the iron wire on the nail, then bend the nail to prevent it from piercing the ECB waterproof board during concrete lining work, affecting the waterproofing effect. Nails should be spaced every 2m; if the tunnel profile is uneven, increase the density appropriately to ensure the iron wire is closely attached to the initial support. 

    Hanging ECB Waterproof Board: Align the centerline of the ECB waterproof board with the center of the tunnel arch, and tie the centerline hanging rope to the center iron wire of the tunnel arch. The horizontal hanging ropes are then hung from the arch to both side walls. After hanging is complete, move the platform forward. Repeat the same process to hang the second and third rings until the entire lining cycle is completed. The ECB waterproof board should be installed in advance, meaning that the installation length of the ECB waterproof board for each lining cycle should be at least 1m longer than the lining length to ensure the joints of the large ECB waterproof board are securely bonded. 

    ECB Waterproof Board Joint Bonding: The ECB waterproof board is bonded using overlapping joints with a lap length of 10cm. During bonding, first clean and dry the joint surface of the ECB waterproof board, then evenly apply adhesive using a brush. The adhesive should not be too thick. Use a heat tool to press the joint until the bonding is smooth and firm. After completing the bonding of each segment, support the joint area with a wooden board and remove the support after 30 minutes. 

    Protection of ECB Waterproof Board: When welding rebar, cover it with asbestos cement boards to prevent sparks from damaging the waterproof layer. Timely concrete pouring is required for protection. During secondary lining, a protective layer should be set at the waterproof board facing the concrete delivery pipe to avoid damaging the ECB waterproof board.
