Backpressure valves generally have two purposes:

For example, to prevent liquid from flowing out of a 2-meter high tank, a backpressure valve with a pressure greater than 0.02MPa can be selected, typically using 0.1MPa.
2: The backpressure valve is used to stabilize the flow of the pump. For certain pumps where the flow varies significantly with pressure, a backpressure valve can be set at the pump outlet to stabilize the output flow. In this case, the pressure of the backpressure valve is generally chosen to be equal to or slightly less than the actual operating pressure of the pump.
The check valve on the outlet pipeline is used to prevent liquid backflow, while the backpressure valve is used to maintain a constant pressure at the pump outlet.
