PVC Drainage Pipe Connection and Installation The connection methods for PVC drainage pipes mainly include three types: sealing rubber rings, bonding, and flange connections. 1. PVC drainage pipes with a diameter of 100 millimeters or more generally use rubber ring joints; 2. PVC drainage pipes with a diameter of less than 100 millimeters generally use bonded joints, and some may use union joints; 3. The cut ends should be smooth, and there should be no deformation at the cut surface. 3. The socket part of the PVC drainage pipe to be bonded can be beveled using a medium-sized file to an angle of 15° to 30°. The bevel length should generally not be less than 3mm, and the bevel thickness should be 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. After completing the bevel, all debris should be thoroughly removed. 4. After connecting the socket joints of the PVC drainage pipe, any extruded adhesive should be cleaned off with cotton cloth or dry cloth dipped in a small amount of cleaning agent. Allow the joint to cure according to the adhesive's performance and environmental conditions. 5. When constructing PVC drainage pipes in winter, the curing time should be appropriately extended.
