Features of PVC Grid Pipe
1. Strong Compression Resistance
The communication PVC grid pipe is made of aging-resistant modified PVC engineering plastic through one-time extrusion. It has high compression strength, and its unique porous integrated mechanical support structure significantly enhances the pipe's compression capability, making it 10 to 100 times more resistant to compression than ordinary structural plastic pipes. Under normal conditions, there is no need for a foundation or encasement, preventing subsidence. It can safely replace steel pipes for crossing roads, is flame-retardant (self-extinguishing), corrosion-resistant, weather-resistant, and has a service life of over 50 years when buried underground.
2. Complete Specifications and Diverse Combinations
The communication PVC grid pipe can freely transition and combine with existing cement pipes, corrugated pipes, and other pipelines, and comes with corresponding fittings like joints, plugs, zip ties, and special glue, facilitating construction operations.
3. Structural Innovation, Space-Saving
The communication PVC grid pipe adopts a porous integrated design, making it more compact with a square shape and orderly arrangement, occupying less space. The excavation required for the road is only 10% of that needed for cement pipes, effectively saving urban underground pipeline resources and minimizing impact on road traffic and municipal services.
4. Good Toughness, Flexible Bending
A 6-meter section of the communication PVC grid pipe can achieve a bending radius of up to 4 meters, allowing for easy avoidance of obstacles or other pipelines during construction. Special elbows are available for unique directional changes.
5. Convenient Construction, Labor and Time Saving
The sheath and sub-pipe are integrated, allowing for cable installation in one go without the need for three passes. This avoids the issues of deformation, tangling, and chaotic arrangement associated with secondary sub-pipe threading, reducing repeated construction troubles. The pipe is lightweight and easy to transport, with a smooth inner wall facilitating easier threading. With strong compression resistance, the required burial depth is only 0.3 to 0.5 meters; backfill with fine sand and gravel first, followed by soil, allows for immediate use of the road without needing a foundation or cement encasement. Compared to using PE/corrugated pipes (which require significant steel usage, are costly, need welding, are cumbersome to install, and have a short lifespan) and cement pouring (which requires a maintenance period), using the communication PVC grid pipe can reduce construction time by nearly half compared to PE/corrugated pipes and by nearly three-fifths compared to cement or steel pipes.
6. The connection of communication PVC grid pipes uses a socket structure that can be completed without any tools, facilitating construction and maintenance. The pipe and joint sleeves are bonded with specially formulated PVC glue, ensuring better sealing and reduced leakage.
Jiangsu Peida Plastic Co., Ltd. was established in 1992 and is located in Fenghuang Town, Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, a nationally renowned civilized city. In 2003, it was recognized as a "Top Ten" enterprise in the industry by the Jiangsu Provincial Building Materials Industry Association and is currently a key enterprise in the chemical building materials system of Jiangsu Province. The company covers an area of 33,000 square meters, with a construction area of 30,000 square meters, producing approximately 20,000 tons of various plastic pipes and fittings annually. Guided by a people-oriented management philosophy, the company adopts the business concept of "seeking development for employees, for the enterprise, and contributing to society," and insists on solving the various challenges faced by the company with the collective wisdom of all employees, enabling rapid development. Peida produces seven series of pipes: 1. Drainage and sewage pipes; 2. Irrigation pipes; 3. Underground communication pipes; 4. Electric cable protection pipes; 5. Water supply pipes; 6. Construction pipes and fittings; 7. Decorative pipes and fittings. The products sell well nationwide and have received widespread acclaim from customers.
