Shijiazhuang solid sheets (also known as PC sheets, polycarbonate, solid sheets, bulletproof glass, Cabron sheets, plastic solid sheets, polycarbonate sheets) are made from high-performance engineering plastic polycarbonate or polycarbonate resin. Characteristics: Impact-resistant, unbreakable strength exceeds that of tempered glass and acrylic sheets by hundreds of times, tough and safe, good anti-theft and bulletproof effects. Advantages
(1) Light transmittance: The light transmittance of solid sheets can reach 89%, comparable to glass. UV-coated sheets will not yellow, haze, or lose light transmittance under sunlight, with only a 10% loss of light transmittance after ten years, while PVC loss can be as high as 15%–20%, and fiberglass loss is 12%-20%.
(2) Impact resistance: The impact strength is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of acrylic sheets of the same thickness, and 2-20 times that of tempered glass. It shows no cracks when dropped from two meters with a hammer weighing under 3 kg, earning it the titles of "shatterproof glass" and "sound steel."
(3) UV protection: One side of the PC sheet is co-extruded with an anti-UV (ultraviolet) coating, while the other side has anti-condensation treatment, combining UV protection, thermal insulation, and anti-fogging functions. It can block ultraviolet rays, making it suitable for protecting valuable artworks and exhibits from UV damage.
(4) Lightweight: The specific gravity is only half that of glass, saving costs in transportation, handling, installation, and support frames.
(5) Flame retardant: According to the national standard GB50222—95, solid sheets are classified as difficult to ignite, i.e., B1 level. The ignition point of PC sheets is 580℃, self-extinguishing after the flame is removed, and does not produce toxic gases during combustion, nor does it promote the spread of fire.
