  The control system of the twin-screw masterbatch pelletizing machine includes a heating system, cooling system, and process parameter measurement system, mainly composed of electrical equipment, instruments, and actuators (i.e., control panel and operation desk). Its main function is to control and adjust the drive motors of the main and auxiliary machines, output the speed and power that meet the process requirements, and enable the main and auxiliary machines to work in coordination.   1. Remove the protective plates of the feeding port and exhaust port. Metal objects must not approach the feeding port and exhaust port to avoid falling into the screw barrel and causing unnecessary losses.
  2. Start the main and auxiliary motors separately and observe whether the rotation direction is correct. If it is reversed, two of the three-phase power supply phases can be swapped (Note: The start time should not exceed 10 seconds).
  3. First, heat the auxiliary machine die head, and after 20 to 40 minutes, other temperature zones can be opened (because the die head has a large volume).
  4. If it is an electric die head, the screen plate needs to be lifted 8 to 10mm before heating to avoid the die head and screen plate getting stuck due to heat. After the new machine is sufficiently heated, all bolts on the electric die head should be tightened once with a certain torque before starting the machine.
  5. During heating, check whether all heaters are heating (use the back of your hand to feel if there is heat about 3cm above each heater). If everything is normal, record the heating current data for each zone (which varies by model). This current data can monitor whether the heaters are working properly. If the current drops, it indicates that one heater in that zone is not heating, and it should be checked, repaired, or replaced in time to avoid insufficient temperature and damage to the equipment.
  6. The auxiliary machine die head heating is set to 180 to 200℃, and other heating is set to 200 to 250℃ (the temperature control meter will show a red light) and then maintain the temperature for 30 minutes.
  7. After the insulation time is sufficient, manually rotate the main/auxiliary machine and the reducer's pulley for more than five turns. If it can rotate without jamming, the main machine can be started. The main motor of this machine adopts a "star-delta" start. When the start button is pressed, the motor starts with a star connection state for reduced voltage starting, and after about 2 to 4 seconds (depending on the motor's starting condition at that time, but not too long), the motor automatically switches to a delta connection state for operation. Each machine must be equipped with a safety ground wire.
