LDQ-2Leakage Tracking Test Instrument

1. Scope of Use

Measures the relative tracking resistance of solid electrical insulating materials when subjected to an electric field at a voltage of600 V while exposed to water containing impurities.

When voltage is applied between specified electrode devices placed on the surface of the material, and the electrolyte drips between the two electrodes at specified time intervals, tracking may occur under these test conditions. The number of droplets required to cause material failure increases as the applied voltage decreases, and tracking does not occur below a certain threshold. When the material does not track at high test voltages, varying degrees of corrosion may occur, and the depth of corrosion can be measured. Certain materials may burn during the test.

2. Product Features

The leakage tracking test device is a specialized testing instrument designed and manufactured according to the requirements of standards such as IEC60695, GB4207/IEC60112, etc. It is suitable for determining the leakage tracking index and resistance to leakage tracking index of solid insulating materials under humid conditions, featuring simplicity, accuracy, reliability, and practicality.
