Laboratory furniture and laboratory fume hoods are essential equipment in laboratories. Classification of laboratory furniture: 1. By function, it is divided into laboratory tables and laboratory cabinets. (1) Laboratory tables include side tables, central tables, instrument tables, ceiling tables, washing tables, high-temperature tables, dissection tables, sampling tables, stainless steel tables, etc.; (2) Laboratory cabinets include fume hoods, medicine cabinets, utensil cabinets, gas cylinder cabinets, acid and alkali storage cabinets, specimen cabinets, sample cabinets, file cabinets, etc.; 2. By material, it is divided into steel-wood structure, full wood structure, and full steel structure. (1) Steel-wood structure: Composed of a metal frame and wooden cabinet body, it can be equipped with mobile and fixed cabinet bodies. It has a high cost-performance ratio but a single style, suitable for customers pursuing economic benefits. (2) Full wood structure: All cabinet bodies are made of man-made board (medium-density fiberboard), offering rich colors but not moisture-resistant and slightly poor in load-bearing capacity. It is not suitable for humid laboratories or those requiring high load-bearing, and its use is not recommended. (3) Full steel structure: Made of 1.0mm thick cold-rolled steel plate through shearing, bending, and welding. All cold-rolled steel plates undergo pickling and phosphating treatment, followed by surface spraying with epoxy resin and high-temperature baking. It has good load-bearing performance and is sturdy and durable. 3. By structure, it is divided into fixed laboratory tables, suspended laboratory tables, and separate laboratory tables. (1) Fixed laboratory table: Supported by a floor cabinet, the cabinet body can be made of full wood structure or full steel structure, with insufficient flexibility. (2) Suspended laboratory table: The cabinet body rests on a metal frame, and the cabinet body can be made of full wood structure or full steel structure, with good moisture resistance and slightly stronger flexibility. (3) Separate laboratory table: The cabinet body is equipped with mobile wheels, and the cabinet body can be made of full wood structure or full steel structure, with the metal frame and tabletop forming a whole. It has good moisture resistance, is easy to move, and offers good flexibility.
