Also known as a kneader, it is mainly used for the plasticizing and mixing of rubber. This machine features a pair of rotors with specific shapes that rotate in opposite directions, performing intermittent plasticizing and mixing of polymer materials under adjustable temperature and pressure in a sealed state. It primarily consists of a mixing chamber, rotors, rotor sealing devices, feeding and pressing devices, discharge devices, transmission systems, and the base.
This machine performs deep pre-mixing of the materials, achieving a level of maturation. It is especially effective for heat-sensitive and shear-sensitive materials, as efficient pre-mixing makes it easier to achieve a high degree of dispersion, reducing the mixing requirements for subsequent equipment and lowering the risk of material degradation.
Principle:
During operation, the two rotors rotate relative to each other, gripping the material from the feed port and carrying it into the roller gap where it is subjected to squeezing and shearing by the rotors. After passing through the roller gap, the material hits the sharp edge of the bottom plunger and is divided into two parts, which then travel along the gaps between the front and rear chamber walls and the rotors, returning to the top of the roller gap.
Operation:
1. Turn on the power sequentially. If heating is required, set the temperature and observe whether the heating is normal. If water cooling is used, open the inlet and outlet valves to ensure proper water flow.
2. Clean the internal mixer chamber, ensuring no hard objects such as wire remain. Check the oil levels and lubrication status of all gears, engine oil, and grease, paying particular attention to the oil level in the three-in-one oil cup, which should not be less than half full. Regularly monitor the oil level changes in the three-in-one unit; no oil consumption or excessively fast oil consumption are abnormal (adjust the knob on the three-in-one unit). Replace the gear oil in new machines after six months. Add lubricating oil to moving parts at least once a week, but do not exceed half the oil gauge, as this can cause oil leakage.
3. Prepare the materials and turn on the power and air pressure. Raise the pressure cover to its upper limit position, then start the main motor. After the main motor has been running for half a minute, add the prepared materials, then lower the pressure cover to begin the mastication of the materials.
4. If a color change is needed, please pour in cleaning material or raw material cleaner, then use a broom or wire to clean the old material from the gaps between the rotor shafts inside the mixing chamber.
5. During the mixing process, the automatic or manual mode can be selected based on the physical properties of the material. Materials that are too hard should not be overly large in quantity or size, as this could cause the machine to freeze or damage the main motor.
6. After the material is fully mixed, first raise the pneumatic cover, then tilt the mixing chamber. Once in position, pour out the material, return the mixing chamber to its original position, and then add the next batch of material for mixing.
7. When stopping production, first turn off the power for each function in sequence, then shut down the main power supply, and afterwards quickly clean the mixing chamber and thoroughly remove any dust.

Regularly inspect the insulation of each circuit, and always pay attention to the warning messages on the machine's warning signs.
2. When the moving parts or the mixing chamber are blocked, do not reach in with your hand or an iron rod; instead, carefully handle the situation with a plastic rod.
3. When touching hot parts, please be careful to avoid burns.
4. If powder leakage or a screeching sound from the sealing ring occurs, first evenly loosen the four screw caps and then tighten them slightly. Add some material oil or machine oil into the gap of the rotor in the mixing chamber, and let it run idle for 3-5 minutes while gently tapping around the edge of the sealing ring cover near the spring with a hammer. If there is still powder leakage, adjust the tightness of individual springs. If the sealing ring cover is very close to the water groove on the side plate of the mixing chamber, it indicates that the sealing ring inside has worn out and needs to be replaced. The method for replacing the sealing ring can be found in the manual.
5. Special attention: Check the oil levels and lubrication status of all gears, engine oil, and grease before starting the machine every day. Pay particular attention to ensure that the oil level in the triplet oil cup is not less than half.
6. In the event of a machine malfunction, immediately stop the machine. Unauthorized personnel must not perform any actions and should notify and wait for your company's maintenance staff to inspect and repair.
