1. The machine should be placed in a well-ventilated area to ensure that the heat generated by the motor can dissipate, thereby extending the life of the motor.
2. Regularly check if the belt is loose, and adjust the motor outward until the belt is tightened.
3. Regularly grease the bearings to ensure proper lubrication between them.
4. If a malfunction is detected during machine operation, the machine must be stopped and the power source disconnected before addressing the issue.
5. Before starting the machine, check if the screws of the blades inside the barrel are loose, and tighten them if necessary.
6. Do not mix tools, hard objects, or strip-like materials into the barrel.
Maintenance:
Check the control panel of the equipment to see if there are any issues, such as with the parameters of the feeder, and whether the suction and discharge times are correct. If there is a problem here, it may not be able to suction material normally, and changes should be made promptly to resolve the issue.
2. Check the pneumatic pump to see if its compressed air source pressure meets the relevant regulations. In most cases, the air source pressure for a pneumatic pump is between 6-7 MPa. If the pressure does not meet the requirements, check whether the air supply line needs to be replaced.
3. The inability to properly draw in material may also be due to disassembly activities of the machine, leading to air leaks at the clamp between the top cover and the barrel, thus preventing normal material drawing operations.
4. Open the top cover, remove the filter plate, and observe if there is too much dust or any clumping on the filter element. These issues can lead to improper suction. To resolve this, simply clean it with compressed air.
The key maintenance points for the side feeder are as follows:
1. For material feeding and metering, to ensure uniform and stable feeding and prevent material from flowing freely, it should be installed horizontally. For continuous feeding of general materials, it can be installed with a 10° downward inclination. For sticky materials and those with higher moisture content, it can be installed with a 15° downward inclination.
2. After installation, a clearance of 20mm should be left for movement, it should be level horizontally, and the hanging device should use a flexible connection.
3. Before the no-load test, all bolts should be tightened once, especially the foundation bolts of the vibrating electromagnet. After 3-5 hours of continuous operation, they should be retightened. During the test run, both vibrating motors must rotate in the same direction.
4. During the feeding process, the amplitude, current, and noise stability should be frequently checked. If any abnormalities are detected, the machine should be stopped immediately for handling.
5. The electromagnetic bearing should be lubricated once every 2 months, and it should be lubricated monthly during the high-temperature season.
