**1. Introduction to High-Temperature Sleeves**
High-temperature sleeves, also known as fireproof sleeves, silicone rubber fiberglass sleeves, are made from high-purity alkali-free fiberglass woven into a tube, which is then coated on the outer wall with organic silicone rubber and vulcanized. After vulcanization, they can be used for a long time within the temperature range of -65°C to 260°C while maintaining their softness and elasticity.
**2. Performance of High-Temperature Sleeves**
The synthesis of special high-temperature resistant materials determines that high-temperature sleeves have many characteristics that are difficult to replace with other similar materials: high-temperature resistance, thermal insulation performance, flame retardancy, electrical insulation performance, chemical stability, weather aging resistance, cold resistance, water resistance, oil resistance, ozone resistance, voltage resistance, arc resistance, corona resistance, etc. Particularly, the safety and environmental protection performance makes them a substitute product for hazardous materials such as asbestos.
**3. 1. Tubular High-Temperature Sleeves**
Generally suitable for protecting shorter or straighter pipelines, cable protection, commonly used in generator sets, they are securely installed, not easily disassembled, and provide good sealing, insulation, thermal insulation, and moisture-proof effects.
**4. 2. Wound High-Temperature Sleeves**
Mainly used for high-temperature protection of irregularly shaped objects such as valves and bent pipes, they are easy to wrap and are also suitable for outdoor high-temperature pipelines, such as natural gas pipelines and heating pipelines, playing a role in thermal insulation and reducing heat loss.
**5. 3. Buckle-Type High-Temperature Sleeves**
The advantage is that they are easy to assemble and disassemble, with no need to stop equipment during installation. The internal seams are glued with fire-retardant Velcro, allowing for sealing and insulation just by adhering the sleeve in the middle, which does not affect equipment production and saves installation time. They are commonly used in large smelting equipment and are also found in metal high-temperature hoses.
**5.1 4. Black High-Temperature Sleeves**
The black tubular high-temperature sleeve is made from high-purity silicon fiber with a purity exceeding 95%, making it an ideal fireproof and thermal insulation product for areas in contact with high temperatures. The different molding methods greatly facilitate the maintenance and emergency repair needs of various specifications on-site. The installation is simple, time-saving, and only requires fixing with supporting clamps at both ends after inserting. They can be reused, and in the case of local damage, they can simply be spliced together, significantly reducing maintenance costs. Usage parameters: ≤1000°C, short-term temperature resistance exceeds 1380°C.
