There are mainly three types: buckle type, wrapped type, and tubular type. The tubular type is suitable for straight pipes, cable protection, automotive wiring harnesses, and is securely installed after generator sets, providing sealing, insulation, thermal insulation, and moisture resistance.
The main advantage of the buckle type fireproof insulation sleeve is that it does not require equipment shutdown or disassembly of hoses and cables during the installation of the thermal protective sleeve. Another advantage is that it can be installed on-site in the factory to ensure proper fit and structural integrity. The buckle type uses high-temperature glass fiber, and the interior is sewn with fire-resistant flame-retardant adhesive tape. Once the sleeve is adjusted to the appropriate size, it can be tightly bonded using the adhesive tape. The wrapped type is used for high-temperature protection of irregularly shaped objects such as valves and bent pipes, and is easy to wrap. It is also suitable for outdoor high-temperature pipelines, such as natural gas pipelines and heating pipes, serving the purpose of thermal insulation and reducing heat loss.
The wrapped fireproof insulation sleeve is woven from high-purity alkali-free glass fiber, and then the outer wall of the tube is coated with organic silicone rubber after vulcanization. After vulcanization, it can be used for a long time within a temperature range of -60℃ to 260℃ while maintaining its soft and elastic properties.
The wrapped fireproof insulation sleeve is used for high-temperature protection of irregularly shaped objects such as valves and bent pipes, and is easy to wrap. It is also suitable for outdoor high-temperature pipelines, such as natural gas pipelines and heating pipes, serving the purpose of thermal insulation and reducing heat loss.
