  Operation and Precautions of the Elastic Body Pelletizing Machine
 
  (I) Startup Operation
 
  1. Turn on the power switch to start the machine.
 
  2. Preheat and increase temperature. Set the heating temperature values for each section according to the process requirements. Once the heating temperature in each section reaches the set value, maintain a constant temperature for 20-30 minutes, then check if the temperature control gauges and cooling pipe solenoid valves in each section are functioning normally.
 
  3. Start the lubricating oil pump switch and observe the oil pressure gauge at the rear of the main unit. It should read between 0.1-0.2MPa (maintain this range; if it drops below 0.05MPa, immediately stop the machine to check the oil circuit, oil pump, oil pump motor, and wiring).
 
  4. Turn on the switches for the lubricating oil pump, cooling water, and pelletizer.
 
  5. Manually turn the main unit three times to ensure there are no abnormalities, then start the main motor control system. Turn the speed control knob clockwise slowly after first turning it counterclockwise to zero before starting the main unit. Gradually increase the screw speed; the idle speed should not exceed 30-40r/min for more than 2 minutes, and check if the machine is running normally and if the no-load current is within the normal range.
 
  6. If the main unit runs normally, you can start feeding material (for side feeding, start the feeding device according to the process requirements sequentially). Begin feeding at the lowest possible speed. Once material starts to discharge from the die head, gradually increase the screw speed and feeder speed. Increase the feeder speed only after the current stabilizes, ensuring the feeder speed matches the main unit's speed. Adjust the pellet cutting speed as needed to meet product requirements. After each speed increase, closely monitor the main unit's current, ideally keeping it below 80% of the rated current. Also, monitor the noise, vibration, bearing temperature, heating temperature, and main unit current to ensure they remain within normal operating parameters. Stop the machine immediately if any abnormal sounds occur. For a given screw configuration, the machine's production capacity and load size (main unit current) primarily depend on the feed rate; the plasticizing and mixing effect depends on the rationality of the screw configuration, the main unit's screw speed, heating temperature, and exhaust efficiency. Multiple adjustments of these parameters are necessary during trial runs.
 
  (II) Precautions During Main Unit Operation
 
  1. The rated current of the main unit is the motor's rated current. During normal operation, it should be controlled below 80% of the rated current to prevent overload (refer to the motor nameplate for the rated current). The rated voltage and frequency should be maintained above 50% of their respective rated values.
 
  2. The die head pressure sensor is equipped with a digital display. During normal operation, the digital reading should be below 10MPa. Operators must constantly monitor this reading. If it exceeds 15MPa, check for blockages in the flow channel, stop feeding material, and gradually reduce the main unit's screw speed until the sensor reading drops below 10MPa. If the reading remains high, manually stop the machine for inspection.
 
  3. Operators should regularly check the tail-end lubricating oil pressure gauge (value should be between 0.1-0.2MPa). If it drops below 0.05MPa, immediately stop the machine to check the oil circuit, oil pump motor, and oil pump to protect the transmission box gears.
 
  4. Normal operation should include operational records.
