Compared to pure HDPE films, the non-woven fabric in the composite geomembrane has a greater friction coefficient, allowing for a steeper slope and reduced land occupation. ◎ The composite geomembrane has high mechanical strengths, including tensile, tear, puncture, and burst resistance. ◎ The composite geomembrane can deform to a certain extent, quickly dissipating stress caused by the unevenness of the cushion layer, and has strong strain capacity. ◎ The pore water pressure and buoyancy force at the contact surface between the composite geomembrane and the soil are easily dissipated. ◎ The composite geomembrane has a certain amount of thermal insulation, reducing damage from soil frost heave to the geomembrane and consequently minimizing soil deformation. ◎ The composite geomembrane is installed in a buried manner, exhibiting excellent anti-aging performance, which reduces maintenance and upkeep of the project. ◎ The installation of the composite geomembrane is simple, reducing transportation volume, lowering project costs, and shortening construction periods.
