PC sheet characteristics:
a. Mechanical properties
1) Impact strength: The impact performance of professional PC solid sheets is 250 times higher than that of traditional glass and 30 times higher than that of acrylic sheets. PC solid sheets are known as "transparent steel sheets."
2) Good tensile strength: The heat resistance of professional PC solid sheets is excellent; even at 120℃, the tensile strength can still reach 350 kgf/cm².
3) Bending strength: The bending resistance of professional PC solid sheets is good; they do not break even at a bending angle of 90°.
b. Thermal properties
1) Melting temperature: The melting temperature of PC solid sheets is 135℃, with a continuous use temperature of up to 120℃.
2) Linear expansion coefficient: The linear expansion coefficient is 7×10^-5 cm/cm/℃, which is relatively small among plastics.
3) Brittle temperature: The brittle temperature of PC solid sheets is -40℃, with a low continuous use temperature of -30℃, which is incomparable to general plastics.
4) Combustibility: PC solid sheets are classified as flame-retardant and self-extinguishing plastics, producing no toxic gases when heated. ULR-94 certified, B1 flame-retardant grade, no dripping, and non-toxic gases.
5) Thermal conductivity: The thermal conductivity of PC solid sheets is not significantly different from that of general plastics, being 1/4 that of glass, 1/300 that of iron, 1/1000 that of aluminum, and 1/2000 that of copper, making it one of the materials with excellent thermal insulation properties.
