Characteristic 1: Acid and alkali resistance; please refer to the polyethylene chemical resistance table.
Description: (1) If this container is filled with liquids of a specific gravity of 1 or below (weak acids, weak bases, and water), the general service life is over 5 years. If placed in a location protected from sunlight and rain, the service life can be significantly extended.
(2) If filled with acidic or alkaline liquids with a specific gravity between 1-1.2, the aging period is 4-5 years.
(3) If filled with acidic or alkaline liquids with a specific gravity between 1.2-1.4, the aging period is 3 years.
(4) If filled with acidic or alkaline liquids with a specific gravity above 1.4, the aging period is 2 years.
Characteristic 2: The maximum temperature resistance does not exceed 70-80 degrees Celsius, and the minimum freezing resistance should not be lower than -30 degrees Celsius.
Characteristic 3: The product is designed for normal pressure; it should not be subjected to positive or negative pressures exceeding normal pressure (1 atmosphere). If mixing is required or if the acidic or alkaline concentration is above 1.2, it is advisable to add reinforcement sleeves and increase the wall thickness of the tank. This characteristic is particularly important for tanks with a capacity exceeding 10,000 liters. (For nitric acid concentrations exceeding 28%, special-grade products must be used along with reinforcement sleeves.) Due to the excellent properties of linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and the special structure of rotationally molded tanks, the service life can reach over 15 years.
