Gas extraction methods can be divided into three categories based on the source of gas:
1. Extracting gas from nearby coal seams. In multi-coal seam mines, when long wall working faces are mined, the top and bottom rock layers and coal seams (including mineable and unmineable layers) relieve pressure, increasing gas fluidity, resulting in large amounts of gas flowing into the working face, threatening production.
