Wanhua Chemical Announces Polyurethane Curing Agent Technology Upgrade Public Notice
Recently, Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in the chemical industry, has made new moves by releasing the pre-approval public notice of the "Environmental Impact Report for the Phase I Expansion and Technical Renovation Project of Polyurethane Curing Agent." This news has attracted widespread attention within the industry.
The expansion and technical renovation project is located within the Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park in the Yantai Chemical Industry Park of the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone. This technical renovation is of great significance, with the main purpose of increasing the production capacity for switching differentiated products to meet the increasingly diverse market demands. In terms of capacity, the production capacity of polyurethane curing agents will be increased from the original 30,000 t/a to 40,000 t/a after the renovation, representing a considerable increase in capacity.
According to the Masterbatch Industry Network, in terms of environmental protection engineering, the project has added an activated carbon adsorption tower as a treatment facility, mainly used for treating process exhaust gases to ensure that emissions meet environmental standards. For other environmental protection engineering, auxiliary engineering, and storage and transportation engineering, the project relies on the existing facilities of the industrial park. This reasonable use of resources not only saves costs but also ensures the smooth progress of the project. Wanhua Chemical's phase one capacity expansion and technical transformation project for polyurethane curing agents is expected to enhance its market competitiveness while positively impacting the development of the polyurethane curing agent market. The Masterbatch Industry Network will continue to follow the progress of this project.
