Vanden Provides Free Polymer Analysis to Help Manufacturers Improve Material Value

Plastmatch Global Digest 2025-09-05 15:40:14

Global plastics recycler Vanden Recycling is offering 100 manufacturers and recyclers the opportunity to receive free polymer material analysis reports as part of a new initiative aimed at promoting smarter and more sustainable decisions across the entire plastics supply chain.

Provide key data on material types, contamination, and processing suitability.

Vanden's technical team has laboratory facilities in the UK, Turkey, and Australia to support businesses in determining the true composition, quality, and recyclability of their materials. These free reports will help companies better understand the polymers they use, revealing key data about material types, contamination, processing suitability, and material value.

When you understand your materials, you can protect value, avoid waste, and maintain product performance.Beril Yesilirmak, Global Technology Director at Vanden, said.

Every batch of plastic is different—that’s why, if you want to reduce risk, avoid rework, and support a truly circular economy, lab-based insights are essential.

The program is open to eligible businesses in Europe, the UK, Turkey, and Australia. Participants will be invited to send plastic samples to Vanden's laboratory, where technical experts will conduct one of several industry standard tests—such as melt flow index, FTIR, near-infrared, density, or sink-float analysis.

A brief technical report will be released subsequently to clearly outline the key findings in a business-related format.

This is to make better decisions.," Beryl added."We aim to help manufacturers and recyclers achieve higher material value, reduce unnecessary losses, and build a closed-loop system. These reports demonstrate what is possible when you determine exactly what your materials are.
