Vanden Global Launches New PET Recycled Resin and Bottle Flake Catalog
On July 28, Zhusuo Vision reported that the plastic recycling company Vanden Global has launched a new catalog of recycled PET resins and sheets. The company claims that this move can provide manufacturers with a stable supply of high-quality recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) materials.
The UK-based company stated: "With the growing demand for food-grade rPET and recycled materials with technical validation, Vanden's latest catalog showcases a full range of flakes and pellets certified by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and RecyClass, while also offering customized raw material solutions." The company further added that the launch of the new catalog demonstrates its ability to consistently and stably supply materials through its global presence, local expertise, and internal logistics network.
Since 2005, Vanden has supplied over 2 million tonnes of recycled materials to processors in 45 countries worldwide. The company has operational hubs in Asia, Australia, Europe, and the UK, which it claims allows it to "mitigate regional market shocks and ensure a stable and diversified supply."
Damien van Leuven, CEO of Vanden, stated: "In the current recycled plastics market, what customers need most are certainty in quantity, quality, and delivery. This catalog showcases our technological capabilities and global influence, but more importantly, it reflects our commitment to helping customers achieve their recycled material usage goals without compromising performance or compliance."
Vanden stated that its rPET portfolio includes a variety of materials, such as:
- Food-grade flakes and granules certified by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
- RecyClass A1 and Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified materials;
- Hot alkaline washing of bottle flakes;
- Customized rPET formulations for fibers, films, and compounds.
The company stated that each product listing includes key indicators such as source, certification, intrinsic viscosity, moisture content, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) threshold, "providing buyers with full transparency and confidence in material selection."
