UBE Corporation Announces Nylon Product Price Increase
On August 20, 2025, UBE Corporation decided to adjust its composite materials business. The price of the product has been set, and negotiations with the customer have already begun.
UBE Corporation has long been committed to improving the quality of nylon products, ensuring stable supply, and reducing costs. However, the costs of auxiliary raw materials, logistics, labor, as well as equipment maintenance and upgrades involved in the manufacturing process have continued to rise. It has become difficult to absorb these additional costs solely through internal measures. In order to ensure the sustainable operation of our business in the future, we have decided to implement a price adjustment according to the following plan:
Price Adjustment Range
Nylon 6: +150 JPY/kg (approximately 7,298 RMB/ton)
Nylon 66: +200 yen/kg (approximately 9730 RMB/ton)
Nylon 12: +400 JPY/kg (approximately 19,460 RMB/ton)
Implementation Date
Effective for orders shipped from October 1, 2025.
