Turkey Initiates New Exporter Review in Anti-Dumping Case Against Chinese Plywood

The Turkish tax numbers for the products involved are 4412.10, 4412.31, 4412.33, 4412.34, and 4412.39. The announcement is effective from the date of publication.
Stakeholders shall submit the questionnaire within 37 days from the date of announcement.
On February 24, 2006, Turkey initiated an anti-dumping investigation on plywood originating from China. On October 20, 2006, Turkey made an affirmative final determination on the case and began imposing anti-dumping duties. Subsequently, Turkey conducted three sunset review investigations, which were concluded with affirmative final determinations and extensions of the duty period on July 10, 2012, May 22, 2018, and April 18, 2024, respectively (see Announcement No. 2012/16, Announcement No. 2018/18, and Announcement No. 2024/10).
On May 27, 2015, Turkey initiated an anti-circumvention investigation against plywood originating from China. On October 28, 2016, Turkey made a final affirmative anti-circumvention ruling on Chinese plywood (see Announcement No. 2016/45), and began imposing anti-dumping duties on plywood from Vietnam and Bulgaria. On November 28, 2023, Turkey once again initiated an anti-circumvention investigation against Chinese plywood. On February 4, 2025, Turkey made a final affirmative anti-circumvention ruling on the case and began imposing anti-dumping duties on plywood from Malaysia (see Announcement No. 2025/2).
