The Steymay multi-layer co-extrusion cast film project has commenced.

On the morning of March 19, 2025, Fuzhou Sidemai New Material Technology Co., Ltd. held a grand commencement and groundbreaking ceremony for the "Multi-layer Co-extrusion Cast Film Project" in the Fuzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

Fuzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone Administration, Economic and Technological Development Zone Industry and Information Technology Bureau leaders, Sidemai Group executives, partners, and guests from all walks of life gathered on-site to jointly witness the important moment of this strategic project setting sail.

It is expected that by the end of 2026, the existing 12 thin film production lines will be relocated, and 11-layer co-extrusion cast film equipment and supporting facilities will be added to achieve operational synergy for the group. The total investment in the project is 3.06 billion yuan, covering an area of 50 mu, with the goal of integrating our two existing production bases in China into this project, thereby consolidating our expertise, technology, and resources. This groundbreaking ceremony not only marks the official launch of the project but also represents a new starting point for the group's layout. In the future, we will push for the construction of the new factory with higher standards and stricter requirements, striving to achieve faster development speed and superior product quality.

French Steimay Group, headquartered in France, specializes in serving hospitals, medical device manufacturers, and the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, it has three factories in Asia, with Fuzhou being the group's film production base, specializing in the production of medical blister packaging films, providing professional medical packaging services to more than 700 medical device manufacturing enterprises at home and abroad.
