Tesla Increases Price of High-Performance Cybertruck by $15,000 in United States (US)
According to foreign media reports, despite lower-than-expected sales and facing recall issues, Tesla has recently raised the price of its most expensive Cybertruck pickup model in the United States by $15,000. Pricing information on Tesla’s official website shows that the latest price of the high-performance Cyberbeast version of the Cybertruck is $114,990, whereas the previous price was $99,990.
According to the official website, after the price adjustment, this version will come standard with the "Luxe Package," which includes Supervised Full Self-Driving and free access to Tesla's Supercharger network.

The prices of other Cybertruck versions remain unchanged.
Tesla delayed the launch of this pickup truck for a long time, and its performance after release has failed to meet the early promises made by the company, with sales so far falling short of expectations.
The pricing of the Cybertruck is significantly higher than the approximately $40,000 starting price promoted by Tesla CEO Elon Musk in 2019. When launched at the end of 2023, Tesla set the base model price of the Cybertruck at $60,990, which is more than 50% higher than the earlier target price.
In comparison, competing models to the Cybertruck, such as Ford's F-150 Lightning and Chevrolet's Silverado EV, typically have lower entry prices for certain configurations. As the price of the Cybertruck increases, market competition is expected to become more intense.
Tesla has recently been offering significant discounts of about $10,000 on some inventory Cybertruck models.
Musk previously stated that Tesla has the capacity to produce more than 125,000 Cybertrucks per year, and that production in 2025 is expected to reach around 250,000 units. However, he also warned that the production ramp-up process would be very difficult.
Tesla's pickup truck did not perform as expected, with its sales accounting for a small portion of the company's total deliveries. Additionally, the demand for the Cybertruck in the market is gradually weakening due to multiple recalls and quality issues.
Despite Tesla never publicly disclosing specific delivery data for the Cybertruck, the recall of 46,000 Cybertrucks in March this year (covering all Cybertruck models produced from November 2023 to February 27, 2025) revealed a critical piece of information: the cumulative sales of this model since its launch are still far from reaching the annual production capacity of 125,000 units claimed by Tesla.
