SAIC Volkswagen Teramont Pro Launches With New Model Priced at RMB 344,900

Recently, the SAIC Volkswagen 2026 Teramont Pro 450TSI AWD Flagship Edition was officially launched, with an official price of RMB 344,900. A surprising one-off price of only RMB 299,900 is offered, adopting a strategy of adding features without raising the price to enter the mid-to-large SUV market, positioning it as the second-highest trim level in the lineup.

The new car maintains the same exterior as the current model, featuring a square and rugged design with a strong off-road style. The vehicle is equipped with IQ.Pilot Enhanced Driving Assist 2.0 as standard, supporting highway driving assistance functions. It also includes a panoramic camera, a 15-inch 2K infotainment screen and an 11.6-inch passenger entertainment screen, front seat heating/ventilation/massage, and second-row seat heating. Compared to the top-tier Summit version, it only lacks a few features such as the automatic tailgate and HUD head-up display.

The new car is equipped with the fifth-generation EA888 2.0T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 200 kW and a peak torque of 400 N·m, paired with a 7-speed DCT wet dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system, delivering powerful performance.
