March 31 news, comprehensive messages from multiple sources indicate that the Huawei Pura 80 series will make its debut in May.It is very likely to be pre-installed with the native Hongmeng system at the factory, becoming the first P series flagship born for the native Hongmeng.
According to the latest leak from the blogger Smart Pikachu,The Pura 80 series still features the Kirin 9020 at its core, but the chip's industrial production has been upgraded, resulting in better power efficiency.
It is reported that the Pura 80 standard version is equipped with a 6.6-inch 1.5K flat screen, while the Pro and Ultra versions are equipped with a 6.78-inch 1.5K full-depth four-curved screen that supports adaptive refresh rate adjustment.
It is worth noting that the Pura 80 Ultra may even feature a dual-layer OLED screen.By stacking two layers of light-emitting units, the screen's brightness, contrast, and colors are enhanced, presenting a vivid and lifelike display.
In addition, by finely adjusting individual pixels, the screen can present more delicate color transitions and significantly enhance its lifespan.
Imaging has always been one of the main highlights of the P series, and the upgrade to Pura is no exception.
The Pura 80 Ultra will debut with a domestically produced 1-inch ultra-large main sensor and is expected to feature a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch ultra-large periscope telephoto lens. With Huawei's powerful imaging capabilities, it is expected to dominate the DXOMARK rankings once again.
The Pura 80 Pro's imaging has also been significantly upgraded, featuring a Sony IMX989 1-inch ultra-large main camera, which also uses a RYYB array. This is a rare configuration for a Pro model in the same price range to have a 1-inch ultra-large sensor.
