More Than 650,000 Plastic Water Bottles From United States Recalled Again

Valley Springs Artesian Gold LLC has voluntarily recalled more than 650,000 units of its bottled water products due to unsanitary conditions in the production process.

According to the enforcement report of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), this recall highlights the importance of strictly adhering to hygiene standards in the production and packaging of consumer goods.

Last week, the FDA classified this recall as a Class II recall, meaning that exposure to the affected product could cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.

The FDA stated that the involved products are all 1-gallon plastic bottled water, with plastic bottle caps, specifically including:

Valley Springs 100% Natural Bottled Water

Valley Springs 100% Natural Fluoride Bottled Water

Valley Springs Steam Distilled Water

This recall was initiated last month, involving the following products:

The law enforcement report stated that the products were sold in Illinois and Wisconsin.

The FDA noted in its official announcement that Valley Springs Artesian Gold has notified consignees through various channels such as email, fax, letters, and visits, but has not yet issued a public press release.
