Hyundai Recalls Some Custo Vehicles in China Due to Declining Brake Performance
Recently, Beijing Hyundai Motor Company Limited, in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products," has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation.
Recall Number S2025M0134V: Starting from September 5, 2025, a total of 3,469 units of the 2024 model Custo vehicles produced between May 11, 2025 and June 24, 2025 will be recalled.
Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may have insufficient tightening torque of the rear brake oil pipe with the four-way connector due to manufacturing process issues. In extreme cases, this could lead to reduced braking performance, posing a safety hazard.
Beijing Hyundai Motor Company will replace the rear brake hoses and four-way connectors free of charge for vehicles within the recall scope to eliminate safety hazards.
Beijing Hyundai Motor Company will notify the relevant car owners through dealers via registered mail, phone calls, SMS, and other means. Users can call Beijing Hyundai customer service hotline: 400-800-1100 for inquiries.
