EVE Energy Solid-State Battery Chengdu Mass Production Base Unveiled
On September 2nd, the Chengdu mass production base of EVE Energy Solid-State Battery Research Institute was officially unveiled, and the "Longquan No. 2" all-solid-state battery successfully rolled off the production line, marking a key step forward for EVE Energy in the industrialization process of all-solid-state batteries.
According to the company's official disclosure, the base covers a total area of approximately 11,000 square meters, with an annual production capacity of nearly 500,000 battery cells once fully operational. The base will be constructed in two phases: the first phase is expected to be completed in December 2025, with the capability to manufacture 60Ah batteries; the second phase is planned to deliver an annual capacity of 100MWh by December 2026.

The recently launched "Longquan II" is a 10Ah all-solid-state battery with an energy density of up to 300Wh/kg and a volumetric energy density of 700Wh/L. It is primarily aimed at high-end equipment applications such as humanoid robots, low-altitude aircraft, and AI.
Liu Jincheng, Chairman of EVE Energy, stated that EVE Energy always adheres to the R&D philosophy of "scientific design and extensive experimentation." When confronting various battery technology routes, the company maintains rational judgment and promotes industrial-scale implementation only after fully verifying the feasibility of the technology.
According to the plan, EVE Energy will develop multiple routes through the "Longquan" series of batteries, systematically advancing technological iterations. In order to achieve the key targets of 400Wh/kg gravimetric energy density and 1000Wh/L volumetric energy density for solid-state batteries by 2025, the company will fully invest in capital, equipment, and R&D resources to accelerate the industrialization process of all-solid-state batteries.
Notably, EVE Energy and Vita Robotics recently announced a deep cooperation in the robotics business. The two parties will work together to advance the commercialization and mass production of embodied intelligence based on user needs and trends in robotic power battery technology. It is reported that the two parties are jointly developing higher-density battery packs, with the power expected to increase by 30%, and outdoor endurance exceeding 6 hours, meeting the needs for single-day use.
In February this year, Morgan Stanley released a list of the top 100 publicly listed companies worldwide in the field of humanoid robots. EVE Energy made the list, becoming one of only two domestic battery suppliers to receive this recognition.
