Delete full self-driving! Tesla customer service responds to FSD renaming: It does not affect owners' usage rights.
TechWeb reported on March 26 that the FSD driving suite on the Tesla China website is now renamed as "Assisted Driving Function." Previously, it was called "FSD Assisted Driving Function," which essentially removes the FSD English abbreviation.
And FSD stands for "Full Self-Driving," which translates directly to "fully autonomous driving." The removal of the description of FSD by Tesla may also indicate changes in the functionality of the FSD suite, which has attracted attention from netizens and Tesla owners.

According to Sina Technology reports, in response to the renaming of Tesla's FSD driving suite as "Intelligent Auxiliary Driving Function," a Tesla customer service representative responded as follows:
In order to better serve the Chinese market and implement recent relevant management regulations, we will adjust the names of our driver assistance products at this stage.
Tesla has renamed the original "Autopilot" to "Driving Assistance," the original "Basic Autopilot" (BAP) to "Basic Driving Assistance," and the original "Enhanced Autopilot" (EAP) to "Enhanced Driving Assistance."
Changed the name of "Full Self-Driving Capability" (FSD) (later renamed to "FSD Smart Assist Driving") to "Smart Assist Driving," and so on.
For owners who have previously purchased FSD/EAP, this name change does not affect the products they have purchased and the rights they enjoy as stated in their transaction documents. We will continue to improve our related products and constantly enhance the vehicle usage experience.
On February 25 this year, Tesla officially pushed the original "FSD Smart Assist Driving Feature" to domestic car owners, unlocking Tesla's high-level intelligent driving capabilities without maps in China.
On March 17, Tesla China announced the launch of a limited-time experience event for Tesla's intelligent assisted driving feature, allowing even those who have not ordered a vehicle to experience it for free for one month.
