Based on the official images released, the Seal 08 is expected to be positioned as a mid-to-large-sized coupe model, inheriting the core design language of BYD's Ocean-S concept car. Specifically, the new car adopts a closed front face design, paired with slim and elongated headlights that echo the raised lines of the hood, further enhancing the strong sporty aura. Additionally, the roof is equipped with a LiDAR, providing hardware support for the realization of its intelligent driving assistance functions.
The side profile of the Seagull 08 features a fastback design, complemented by semi-recessed door handles and large multi-spoke alloy wheels, further enhancing the vehicle's premium feel. At the rear, the car adopts a full-width taillight design, with light strips inside the lamp clusters forming a wave-like pattern that echoes the front headlights.
Technically, the Seagull 08 will be equipped with advanced technologies including rear-wheel steering, Megawatt Flash Charging, Sky-Eye 5.0, and Cell-to-Body (CTB) integrated body construction. According to official information, with Megawatt Flash Charging, the vehicle can replenish a range of 400 km in just five minutes, and its comprehensive pure-electric range is expected to exceed 1,000 km. Additionally, the rear-wheel steering system significantly enhances vehicle maneuverability and driving experience.
