Annual Production of 50,000 Tons of Modified Plastics Project Put Into Operation
Recently, Prite's high-end automotive modified materials production base in Anhui officially commenced operations, with a total investment exceeding 1 billion yuan. This marks an important milestone in the company's efforts to deepen the development of its dual main business strategy of "new materials + new energy."
The base is reported to achieve an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons and an annual output value of 700-800 million yuan. Its business will cover four major areas: intelligent equipment, low-altitude economy, new energy vehicles, and energy storage equipment.
In the field of new energy vehicles, the base focuses on the research and production of battery pack casings and interior structural components to meet the automotive industry's technical requirements for lightweight materials and high weather resistance; for industrial robots and intelligent logistics equipment, it develops specialized modified materials tailored to their characteristics, helping to enhance operational stability and service life; in the low-altitude economy sector, it develops lightweight composite materials needed for drone fuselages and general aviation equipment, ensuring material strength while meeting weight reduction demands, thereby supporting the safe and efficient development of low-altitude equipment; in the energy storage equipment sector, it focuses on creating fire-resistant and flame-retardant energy storage cabinets and battery bracket materials, with related products having passed rigorous performance tests, establishing a strong material defense line for the safe operation of the energy storage industry.
It is reported that PRET has a total of 12 new material manufacturing bases, including Shanghai Qingpu, Shanghai Jinshan, Jiaxing in Zhejiang, Tongliang in Chongqing, Wuhan in Hubei, Foshan in Guangdong, Binhai in Tianjin, South Carolina in the United States, Chonburi in Thailand, Monterrey in Mexico, among which 3 bases are under construction.
The current company production capacity is 500,000 tons, including those under construction. The annual production capacity is expected to be 400,000 tons.Prite South China Headquarters and R&D Manufacturing Base Project, a 50,000-ton new materials factory in Ma'anshan, Anhui, is expected to start production in the fourth quarter of 2025; the 150,000-ton new materials factory in Binhai, Tianjin, is expected to commence production in early 2026. The future annual production capacity is expected to exceed 1 million tons.
Among them, 90% of the revenue from the modified plastics segment comes from automotive industry customers, while efforts are also being focused on expanding into areas such as power batteries, energy storage systems, home appliances, two-wheeled vehicles, power tools, and robotics.
On August 21, Preet announced that in the first half of 2025, the company achieved a total operating income of 4,089.7786 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.06%; operating profit of 225.2672 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 52.46%; total profit of 225.406 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 55.93%; and net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of 207.2914 million yuan, an increase of 43.94% compared to the same period last year.
