Taking Yuyao and Dongguan as benchmarks, market prices in East China have surged sharply, and market prices in South China have also surged sharply. Today’s market transaction prices surged sharply; manufacturers continued to raise ex-factory prices, and market participants continued to chase higher prices, driving prices steadily upward. Domestic ABS market prices are expected to remain firm tomorrow.

3 Production Dynamics

Shandong Haijiang 200,000 tons/year ABS plant was shut down for maintenance on August 28, and started up on October 5. It was shut down again on December 1.
