After completing extensive field preparations with its partners, WeRide has collaborated with a local driving school to conduct autonomous driving tests with safety personnel in the vehicle. The tests cover multiple areas in and around Furtal, including Boppelsen, Otelfingen, Buchs, Dänikon, Würenlos, Killwangen, Hüttikon, Dällikon, and Regensdorf. At this stage, WeRide's Robotaxi will undergo multiple adaptive autonomous driving tests under various traffic and weather conditions to ensure full compliance with Swiss road regulations.
After successfully completing tests with the Swiss Federal Roads Office (FEDRO), WeRide's Robotaxi will launch pure unmanned driving tests, with remote monitoring conducted by Eurobus, the largest private bus operator in Switzerland, at the central support center.

WeRide's business expansion in Switzerland continues to deepen. Starting from June 2025, WeRide's autonomous minibus Robobus will provide shuttle services for Zurich Airport employees between the headquarters (Gate 101) and the maintenance area (Gate 103). In October 2025, WeRide and Zurich Airport initiated operational training for rear safety operators and remote cockpits of autonomous minibuses to prepare for subsequent fully unmanned operations.
