Shenma Shares Starts Construction of the Nation’s First “Lights-Out Factory” for Nylon 66 Tire Cord Fabric

With the goal of minimizing manpower and achieving unmanned operations, this project covers the entire process, including spinning, weaving, dipping, and logistics transfer. Relying on the Industrial Internet, digital twins, and AI algorithm systems, it enables real-time equipment monitoring, automatic process optimization, and abnormality warning, creating a “lights-out production” model that significantly improves production efficiency and product stability.

As a global leader with independent synthesis technology for two core raw materials of Nylon 66, namely adiponitrile and amino capronitrile, Shennong Co., Ltd. has broken the foreign monopoly. Its production capacity of Nylon 66 industrial yarn and tire cord fabric ranks among the world's top, while its production capacity of Nylon 66 salt and engineering plastics remains in the leading position in Asia. In 2024, Pingmei Shennong Group acquired 100% equity of Ningxia Jemei Energy Investment Co., Ltd., gaining control of the Hejiayao Coal Mine (with a resource volume of 312 million tons), providing low-cost and stable raw material support for the industrial chain.

This investment in Ningdong marks a key step for Shenma Industrial in implementing its strategy of “attracting resources from the east, advancing westward, and going global.” The Ningdong base offers cost advantages in land and energy, as well as a strategic location that enables it to serve Northwest China and the Central Asian market. Meanwhile, amid the global automotive industry’s shift toward lightweight and high-performance materials, demand for high-end nylon 66 tire cord fabric continues to grow. Once the project is put into operation, the company will further expand overseas markets and strengthen its influence in the global high-end tire materials sector.
