NIO: Number of Charging Stations Exceeds 5,000 with Over 28,000 Charging Piles
IT Home reported on May 19 that NIO announced that, with the official launch of two energy stations—its “Shanghai Minhang Children’s Hospital Battery Swap Station” and “Phase II Supercharging Station at Zhuji Runda Used Car Trading Market”—the scale of NIO’s nationwide charging and battery swap network has reached a new record high.


As of now, NIO has built 3,851 battery swap stations nationwide, including 1,036 located at highway service areas. Its charging station network has surpassed 5,000, reaching 5,023 stations, with the total number of supporting charging piles rising to 28,863. In addition to its self-built stations, NIO has also connected to more than 1.61 million third-party charging piles, further expanding its energy replenishment coverage.

NIO also revealed that the cumulative number of battery swap services for its models has surpassed 100 million. Going forward, NIO will continue expanding its charging and battery swap stations into more cities and counties, covering a wider range of daily scenarios and highway routes.
