According to Xinhua News Agency, the U.S. “Artemis II” crewed lunar orbit mission’s “Orion” spacecraft returned to Earth and splashed down near San Diego, California, on the evening of October 10, U.S. Eastern Time.

The latest mission schedule indicates that the United States plans to carry out the Artemis III mission in 2027 to conduct system and operational capability tests in low Earth orbit, followed by the Artemis IV lunar landing mission in 2028.
