Brief Description: The Nanjing twin-screw extruder consists of several parts, including the transmission device, feeding device, barrel, and screws. Structural Features of Nanjing Twin-screw Extruder:

Maintenance:
⒈ The extruder should be placed in a well-ventilated location to ensure the motor's heat dissipation and prolong its life; the machine should be well grounded.
⒉ Regularly check the screws of the cutting tools. After using the new machine for 1 hour, use tools to tighten the screws of the moving and fixed blades to ensure their stability with the blade holder; regularly lubricate the bearings to ensure their lubrication; to maintain the sharpness of the cutting blades, regularly check the blades to ensure their sharpness and reduce unnecessary damage to other components due to dull blades; regularly check if the belt is loose and tighten it in time.
⒊ Restarting——Before the second start of the blades, clear the remaining debris in the machine chamber to reduce the starting resistance. Regularly open the inertia cover and pulley cover to clean the ash outlet below the flange, as the powder discharged from the crusher chamber enters the shaft bearings.
⒋ Replacing parts——When replacing the cutting tools, the gap between the moving and fixed blades: 0.8MM is recommended for crushers above 20HP, and 0.5MM is recommended for crushers below 20HP. The thinner the recycled material, the larger the gap can be adjusted.
Main Motor of Nanjing Twin-screw Extruder Cannot Start
1. Causes:
(1) Incorrect startup procedure.
(2) Issues with the main motor circuit, communication failure.
(3) Interlocking devices related to the main motor are activated.
2. Solutions:
(1) Check the procedure and restart according to the correct startup sequence.
(2) Check the main motor circuit.
(3) Check if the lubricating oil pump is started, check the status of the interlocking devices related to the main motor; the motor cannot start if the oil pump is not running.
