About Us
EQUATE is the first international joint venture in the industry established by Kuwait, founded in 1995 through the collaboration of Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC), Dow Chemical Company (Dow), Boubyan Petrochemical Company (BPC), and Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company (QPIC). This partnership embodies its "Successful Partners" slogan. EQUATE produces over 6 million tons annually of the highest grade ethylene, ethylene glycol (EG), polyethylene (PE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), styrene monomer (SM), p-xylene (PX), heavy aromatics (HA), and benzene (BZ). Its products are sold to Asia, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
