[PVC Daily Review] Export Expectations Boost V Market Sentiment
Today's Summary
2. Spot Overview

Based on the East China Changzhou market, today's cash price for acetylene-based PVC type 5 in East China is 4,660 yuan/ton, down by 10 yuan/ton compared to the previous trading day. The current domestic PVC spot market is sluggish, with end-users cautious in their procurement approach. The market prices are weakly fluctuating, and the focus of spot prices is shifting downward to seek transactions. Due to limited improvement in the supply-demand balance, industry inventory continues to accumulate. In East China, the price range for acetylene-based PVC type 5 is 4,600-4,720 yuan/ton, while the price range for ethylene-based PVC is 4,750-5,000 yuan/ton.
3. Price Prediction
PVC production enterprises are maintaining a high operating rate, and overall supply is showing a steady growth trend. Due to the industry off-season and insufficient downstream orders, terminal purchasing demand is sluggish, and the increase in exports has not met expectations, leaving the industry facing inventory pressure. Combined with temporarily stable cost support, it is expected that the spot market will maintain a weak adjustment within a certain range, with the cash-and-carry price of carbide-based PVC type 5 in the East China region likely to fluctuate between 4600-4700 yuan/ton.
